These next 3 weeks will be full of excitement, anticipation, fear, reluctance and dread all at the same time while we prepare for this greatly anticipated trip. So many things are happenening as we prepare our minds, our bikes and our checking accounts for the upcoming event of riding motorcycles out west; through all the scenery and roads that we have seen on TV and have heard about. There are so many things going on right now while preparing for the trip. Making sure the bike is ready, getting someone to care of our home and feed our animals, while all the time trying to go to work daily jobs and follow our daily rut. While we are down in that rut, every now and then we look up and see the top edge, where the dirt touches the sky. What we see there is a beautiful motorcycle, greating riding weather, a bucket full of anticipation to see things we haven't seen and ride roads we haven't ridden; and standing in the middle of all of that are some great friends that are feeling the same thing I am................and to top to off, it's all gonna happen on a bike. I really can't wait!
